If one word could sum up Fairchild’s presence at this years PCIM 2014 exhibition, held in Nuremberg, Germany— it would be “Amazing”. Focusing on the latest advancements in power management, Fairchild’s team of sales, marketing and FAEs engaged with customers with an unprecedented amount of energy, enthusiasm and pride that reflects the company’s recent change in culture and engaged employees.
Every demonstration in Fairchild’s booth was active and focused on our customers need to deliver solutions that further reduce power consumption by optimizing energy for today’s power-hungry applications such as: Industrial, Motion Control, Automotive, LED Lighting, Power Conversion as well as plethora of design tools and advanced packing solutions.
A highlight at PCIM, was the keynote address by Thomas Neyer, Fellow and Head of Fairchild’s High Voltage Technology/Device Development Centers. This standing-room-only keynote focused on Progress in Power Semiconductor Devices and Applications. The presentation discussed how advances in power management are improving the low-power performance that customers require while reducing the overall system cost through higher integration and power density—a noteworthy step in enabling a cleaner environment.
Customers commented favorably on the new brand – but they also recognized that the passion and energy in Fairchild’s booth extended well beyond a new logo, but a shift in culture based on our new mission; “Fairchild promises to delight its customers with amazing products, design and applications expertise, logistics and service.”
It took a galvanized team effort to make it all come together – the booth, the demos, the presentations, all the details that are often not seen but make all the difference to our customers experience.
Our SVP of Sales, Chris Allexandre said after the show, “Winning is a team sport and is about enjoying being together to delight our customers. It was clear throughout the show that team was connected and in sync.”
